I've been to Pizzios and it is also one of my favorite restaurants!... Reading your review reminded me it has been a while since I've been to Pizzio's so Saturday night looks to be pizza night :)
Pizzio's is a place I discovered in late 2003 or early 2004. I agree with the decor and the neighborhood feel. Roger and Louise are the best. I guess everyone forgot to mention Roger's passion for pizza, and their pizza's are awesome. The other Great thing about Pizzio's is the all local wine list which has wine from wineries where I know people that work. Very Cool!
I especially enjoy going to Pizzio's on a week night with my dad and sister when it is not very crowded. I recommend a pizza with half pesto and half La Rosa. I am so glad that I have found such a fabulous blog! keep up the good work (whoever you are!) :)
A friend of mine, Sam, responded in an email how he and his wife had a wonderful meal recently at The Farmhouse, on River Road in west Sonoma County. I've heard of it but have not eaten there. It's supposed to be very, very good, and, with that, pricey.
My friend Sam said the same thing about the Farm House. I have not eater there in a couple of years, but I hear that is just as good as the last time I went.
Aw, this was a really nice post. Finding the time and actual effort to make a top notch article… but what can I say… I put things off a whole lot and never seem to get nearly anything done.
Every Meal a Feast celebrates my adventures--and misadventures--with great food, great wine, and fun times. The inspiration for this blog comes from one of my all-time favorite movies, "Big Night" (see pic above), while the name comes from a friend, who once said he tries to live life like: "Every day's a holiday, and every meal a feast."
Where I Live / Eat / Drink
Sonoma County /Napa Valley CA (with travels all over the world...)
Stay tuned for the next Every Meal A Feast "Gathering" in which you can join fellow EMAF readers for a special dinner where we'll share great food and wine, renew old friendships, and make new friends. (For info about our first Gathering, see the post of Sept. 21: We Meet the Meat Monkey.)
